12/30/2021 Awards for the best diploma theses
The Pension Reserve Fund Management Company of the Republic of Srpska, in accordance with the conditions of the competition from November, awarded the three best diploma theses in the field of financial markets, business finance, and financial management.
Marina Tomić from Teslić won the first prize in the amount of 400 convertible marks. Marina defended her dissertation entitled "Dividend policy in the function of company growth" at the Faculty of Economics, University of Banja Luka, and the mentor was Professor Dragan Mikerević. The second place and the award of 200 convertible marks were won by Cvijo Dubočanin from Banja Luka. At the same faculty, he defended his paper entitled "Analysis of the capital structure of companies on the official market of the Banja Luka Stock Exchange", and the mentor was Professor Jelena Poljašević. The third place and the award of 100 convertible coins were won by Dejan Toholj, who graduated from the Faculty of Economics at the University of East Sarajevo with the topic "Alternative Property and Cryptocurrencies". The mentor was professor Zorica Golić.
The commission for the evaluation of works consisted of: Miloš Grujić, Gordana Drobnjak, Jasna Zrilić, Bojan Lučić, Boris Srdić, Slavko Ninković, Srdjan Raković, Dalibor Tomaš, Bojan Luburić, Srdjan Kondić and Miodrag Jandrić. The commission had the task to read and evaluate the works and propose a ranking list of the best works, after which the scholarship agreements will be signed. After completing the task and consulting each other, the Commission assessed that the next three diploma theses deserve awards for 2021. The members of the commission have an average of 15 years of work experience in the capital market, manage more than 4.3 billion convertible marks, and as authors or co-authors have published more than 120 scientific and professional papers in domestic and foreign scientific journals and conferences.
